We're looking for the next great Executive pastry chef

Executive pastry chef responsibilities:

  • Direct all dessert and pastry preparation while collaborating with the Executive Chef .
  • Manage their own team of pastry chefs.
  • Creates a diverse variety of dessert menus for all Jegantic venues .
  • Creates recipes specific to each venue.
  • Ensures ingredients and food quality stay consistent.
  • Able to produce a minimum of 500 desserts weekly.
  • Minimum 4 years experience as Pastry chef
  • Prior experience in a high volume restaurant.
  • Comfortable with working early mornings and weekends.
  • Must have prior experience managing their own team.
  • Must be MAPAQ certified.
  • Must be dynamic and outgoing and work well with others.
